Insight on the New Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE) and Network Infrastructure Architect Certification

I was honored this week to be invited to Cisco Network Design Expert (CCDE) and Network Infrastructure Architect a couple of weeks ago with this new beta program certification). This is a private beta program for senior engineers and Cisco CCIE exist to help develop a new certification program for expert level "drawing fire." In addition, Cisco is looking at how to create a certification of "architect" of the most experienced engineers and competent.

Cisco call last week team and beta-mail: This will be a collaborative effort with Cisco CCIE Professional Network and community design. Not only will it include the design principles of complex network theory and analysis, several operators include high availability design and architecture concepts of strategic infrastructure. At the highest level, this credential is intended to focus "over the net" design and network architecture leveraged to grow the business in a respective organization.

There was a Q & A session with about 50 initial CCIE at Networkers this week that gave a brief overview of the intent of Cisco. The next hour was spent in discussions with the technicians. In general, Cisco is making a strong community to include the certification of experts to prepare this new effort certification. It 'something that should be praised for. During the next week I'll post more information on the known beta and Q & A session program.
